On most modern Tower or Desktop PCs the audio sockets are colour coded.

Green for AUDIO INPUT – Speakers or headphones

BLUE for LINE INPUT

PINK for MICROPHONE INPUT (but you’ll probably use a USB mic/ or one built into a WEBCAM.
